Community Awards

The Three Lakes Area Visitors Bureau is continuing our new tradition of annually recognizing the accomplishments of our partners, non-profit organizations, and area businesses and individuals. Nominations are considered for the following awards: Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, and Emerging Business of the Year. This year, we would like to recognize our businesses at our Annual Awards held in October to present the awards and thank our nominees for participating in and supporting the organization and Three Lakes Community. Self-nominations are accepted! 

Nominations are open until Monday, October 7th. Finalists will be announced on Tuesday, October 8th and the winners will be announced at the Three Lakes Visitors Bureau on Wednesday October 16th at 5 pm. The Annual Awards will take place at Big Stone Golf Course and feature an epic grazing table and cash bar. Join us to hear what we've been up to this year, recognize outgoing board members and to celebrate the many accomplishments of our community! Tickets are only $10 an include an hour of networking with fellow business owners, a generous grazing table and a chance to be there when the winners are announced. 

THE AWARDS

Business of the Year Award: Business of the Year is presented to the business that has demonstrated innovative economic and business growth, provides dedication to customer service and is active in the Three Lakes community. Awarded to an area business that has been in business for over 5 years.

Non-Profit of the Year Award: The Non-Profit of the Year award is presented to a service organization or public institution that is dedicated to community service and leadership and develops innovative programs to serve the community over time.

Emerging Business of the Year: The Emerging Business of the Year award recognizes a small business that has contributed to the Three Lakes community's economic vitality and demonstrated revenue growth and staying power. The business must have operated for less than five years.

Ambassador of the Year: In its fourth year, the ambassador of the award shall be given to an individual who has exhibited exemplary service and commitment to Three Lakes over the past year, through time, energy, and dedication for the good of the community.
