2021 Long Lake 4th of July Boat Parade

2021 Long Lake 4th of July Boat Parade

The residents of Long Lake are once again going to celebrate Independence Day on Long Lake after the success of last years boat parade!

The boat parade will begin at the channel to Planting Ground on the South side of the lake at 2:00 PM on July 4, 2020. The parade will go in a counter clockwise rotation around that lake (west side along Green Bass and Van Bussum Rd) and will travel to the channel to the Dam. (Boats can elect to complete the lake loop if they wish).

We would love for you and your families to come and watch us celebrate the birth of our country and cheer us on. Some boats may be giving out candy. If they are giving out candy, they will swing into your dock and hand or lightly toss the candy to you to avoid trash getting in the lake. (We will post some clever ideas about this as we get closer)

RAIN DATE: If rained out we will not reschedule

Pat McCurdy Live at Wild Eagle Lodge – Tickets on sale NOW.

Pat McCurdy is a cabaret singer/songwriter from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He regularly tours the upper midwestern part of the United States with regular stops in Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, Green Bay, and Minneapolis. His shows usually consist of just him and his guitar and include improvised interaction with the audience. While the majority of his audience is made up of a college-age crowd, McCurdy appeals to a large number of people of all ages. Performing well over 300 shows a year, his large catalog of original songs (over 600 and growing) covers a variety of topics such as lost loves, politics, family vacations, and how the world can’t live without Sex & Beer.

It will just be an open-air performance, so people need to bring chairs or blankets or sit on the grass.  Followed by Fireworks from Stillwater’s.
