On Saturday, May 7th starting at 9:00 am the Demmer Library will be giving away free comic books as part of Free Comic Book Day. Comics are first come, first serve and there is a limited quantity. Free Comic Book Day is the first Saturday in May and has been celebrated since 2002. Libraries and comic bookstores can sign up online and get promotional materials and free comic books to give away.

On Saturday, June 25, race boats from all over the midwest will return to challenge the radar gun on the 1000 ft. shootout course on Big Stone Lake in front of the Sunset Grill, Hwy. 32, just east of Three Lakes.
