  • “Service to the Three Lakes Community 1952 – 2017” The Lions Club provides and maintains the Maple Lake beach facilities; sponsors youth sports programs and academic scholarships; and assists in student international programs. They organize and finance the ever-popular July 4th Parade, the Children’s Easter, Christmas and Halloween events, run the eyeglass recycling program and support all community charitable causes. Fundraising helps support community events like the 4th of July Parade and vision-related causes. Fundraising events Sign Raffle in the Fall and Rummage Sale/Auction in the Summer. Club Member regular dinner meetings are held the 1st Monday of each month. During the summer, a second meeting is held on the 3rd Monday of the summer months. Members gather at 5:30 pm for camaraderie and socializing. The meeting begins at 6:30 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a choral rendition of a patriotic song and a short prayer. A meal is served, followed by the business meeting at 7:15pm. Everything wraps up at 8pm.
