Our trail system traverses some of the most scenic country Wisconsin has to offer, from the pristine Nicolet National Forest, to the beauty of our chain of 28 interconnected lakes stretching from Three Lakes northward to Eagle River. Cross Country Ski Trails

The Three Eagle Trail
The Three Eagle Ski Trail begins on Highway 32/45 from a designated parking area about 3 miles north of the Three Lakes business district. Parking is available here as well as at the Sundstein Road end of the trail. The trail is groomed and includes a classic track as well as a "skate" lane. The trail is about 10 miles or 16 kilometers long going out and back.

Nicolet National Forest Ski Trails
• Anvil Trail – One of the most popular cross country ski trails in the area, groomed for classic skiing and some for skating. The terrain varies from fairly flat to gently rolling with some hilly sections. Trails are marked for degree of difficulty. This trail connects with the Nicolet North Trail system.

Snowshoeing

Snowshoeing is another great way to get acquainted with the beauty and splendor of the northwoods. Maps and information on the following nearby snowshoe trails may be obtained at the Three Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.

• Franklin Nature Trail - Length 1 mi. 
• Hidden Lakes Trail - Length 15 mi.
• Sam Campbell Trail - Length 2.5 mi.
• Scott Lake Trail - Length .3 mi.
• Sevenmile Trail - Length 2 mi.
• Spectacle-Kentuck Trail - Length 2.5 mi.
