- What Buzzing in Three Lakes? Pollinators such as bees and butterflies perpetuate $40 billion worth of products in the U.S. every year, but unfortunately, their populations have been declining due to disease, pesticide us and habitat loss. Oneida County Land & Water Conservation, in partnership with the Town of Three Lakes, has been implementing improvement of pollinator habitat along roadsides. This project was made possible with a grant from Lumberjack RC& D and monetary donation from Three Lakes Winery.
