World's Largest Inland Chain of Lakes

Three Lakes, Wisconsin is a small community nestled in the midst of the Northwoods, and more specifically, the Nicolet National Forest. The Nicolet offers scenic bicycling, hiking, camping, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, and world class snowmobiling. One of our greatest vacation features is the largest freshwater Chain
Of Lakes in the world. The "Chain" consists of 28 lakes,
20 of which are easily accessible from Three Lakes.
Downtown Three Lakes has a very old-fashioned yet warm appeal with antique looking lamp posts lining the streets. All the shopping and other amenities you could ever want or need can be found in our downtown area. We've always got something happening here, whether it's our Pumpkin Fest in October, Fun Fest in June, The Three Lakes Muskie Classic,
or Nicolet Wheel-A-Way bike tour during Labor Day weekend.
Three Lakes is a wonderful place to spend your Wisconsin vacation, holiday, or weekend . . . we've got an awful lot to offer. Every season presents its own unique recreational opportunities, and spectacular serene settings. So, come spend some time with us in our small and friendly town! If you have any questions when you arrive, just come into the Three Lakes Area Chamber. We are always willing to
help!
