North by Northwoods: 3Lakes Music Crawl

Come out to Three Lakes for the North by Northwoods music crawl. Live music will be performed in bars and shops throughout the area with a FREE shuttle to take you from venue to venue throughout the day on Saturday, Sept. 21st!

Live music through out town. Come join us for the 2nd Annual North By Northwoods live music crawl in Three Lakes. Things will kick off on Friday with our main act, The Northern Lights from Nashville, tickets will be on sale soon. Saturday will have a full day of acts around town and a free shuttle running 1/2 hour before the first performance to 1 hr after the last one. 12th Annual Three Lakes Shootout & Airport Fly-In, is a great event that benefits many of the local businesses in the Three Lakes area. The Three Lakes Shootout and Fly-In continues to be a free, premier, family-friendly event with The Three Lakes Airport just 500 feet away, planes on the ground and overhead, racing boats on the water, great food & fun for all ages!

4th of July 2019

Plan a fun-filled day in Three Lakes on July 4th with lots of things to do! Start the day at 9 AM with the Lion’s Club parade. After the parade, everyone is invited to Don Burnside Park where the party continues with a variety of food and flea market vendors, many supporting local organizations. A band will also be performing, courtesy of the Red Suspenders organization of Three Lakes. The Aqua Devils Water Ski Show will perform around 6:30 as they will throughout the summer, every Wednesday and Saturday from June 16 through August 11. And the 4th of July wouldn’t be the 4th of July without fireworks at dusk at Don Burnside Park.

August 23, 2018 (Three Lakes, WI) – Come to Three Lakes for an amazing couple of days of musical performances at various venues in and outside of town! On Friday and Saturday, September 21-22, experience the Three Lakes live music scene for a 2-day North by Northwoods music crawl. Visit iconic business establishments and enjoy hearing eclectic music in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

“Three Lakes is considered the gem of the Northwoods. While we will always be known as a premier destination for amazing outdoor experiences on the largest inland chain of lakes in the world as well as the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, we also are a community filled with amazing business establishments and people who have a real passion for the arts,” stated Sarah Flashing, Executive Director of the Three Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. “The 2018 North by Northwoods: 3Lakes Music Crawl will feature a variety of musical performances throughout the community and will connect with the musical tastes of everyone. Come out to Three Lakes and let us entertain you in style!”

A shuttle will be provided on Saturday, September 22, at no charge to transport guests from venue to venue including some lodging destinations in the Three Lakes area.

Musical acts currently booked include Midwest talent like flutist Vicki Logan, rock band Wyatt & the Immortals and local bands including Diamond Pepper, Spotlight Polka Band, the Hurleywoodz and Anthony Lux. Locations of performances include the Black Forest, American Legion, Pike’s Pine Isle, Diversions, Northernaire, Three Lakes Center for the Arts and more.
